Urban Remix closing shop in the South Loop

After four years in the South Loop at 1468 S. Michigan Ave., Urban Remix, the up-scale furniture consignment store will close at the end of August.

According to owner and operator, Mari Ann Weiss, the reason she’s closing shop is because they’ve lost their lease. Weiss hopes to find a warehouse location where she can continue offering the “highest quality in furniture consignment.”
