Armand’s Pizzeria comes to the South Loop

Armand’s Pizzeria is coming to the South Loop. They’ll be opening shop at 1416 S. Michigan Ave., in the space formerly occupied by City Tavern. There is a sign posted in the window of the old City Tavern, but you can hardly see it due to the way the windows are configured.

Armand’s Pizzeria boasts that they make “Chicago’s Best Thin Crust Pizza.” They’ve been in business since 1956 and have 10 locations in the Chicagoland area, including locations in Wicker Park and Millennium Station.

I'd like to buy a vowel, Pat, so I can read this sign.

The sign says opening soon, but no official opening date has been announced.
